Colette Black Joins JVS SoCal as Chief Development & Marketing Officer

Los Angeles, June 27, 2024 — JVS SoCal is pleased to announce that Colette M. Black has been appointed Chief Development & Marketing Officer of the agency as of July 1, 2024. She joins after having most recently served at UMOM New Day Centers, a shelter and affordable housing provider for people in Phoenix, AZ. Previously, Colette served at the Urban League of Greater Kansas City and spent 25+ years in an IT career.

She has a proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced social service and advocacy environments, similar to JVS SoCal. Her expertise lies in building high-performing teams and implementing scalable solutions that drive fundraising growth,” said Jeff Carr, CEO of JVS SoCal.
